time suck or i’m cranky today.
November 16, 2010
i have no idea where the past eight days have gone.
oh yeah!
that’s right.
i’ve been lost in a sea of cables.
finally, i’ve worked my way through most of the knitting.
i mean, i love the way cables look,
but jesus god they take forever!
right now, the pieces are soaking
and i’m stressing over how the hell i’m supposed to block them
when the many t-pins i’ve . . . collected from my friends
are missing. assuming i do find them,
i still have to figure out how to seam the bitch.
when did knitting get so stressful!?!?
in the mean time,
i wait at the window with mo
hoping the mailman has a package i’ve been waiting for.
i feel like a sixteen year old girl waiting by the phone on friday night.
*sigh*

What is it?? I need to know what you’re waiting for. oh….that cables look good, too.

The daily wait for the mail person, when you want them to come on time, the are usually late. Makes me crazy. I had to find a Fed Ex box recently and the one that I thought was in my small town suddenly vanished. ( I asked the store where it was located at, they said it has been gone for 4 years) oh well,

We’ll work on seaming it on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. You’ll do just fine. š
(I know! You can use my new Chibi!) (ha ha ha)

I really would like to steal Mo so I could have a doggie to snuggle.
Don’t stress too much about seaming. It’s not that hard, you can always rip it out and do it over if you’re not satisfied, and you have an expert on call! Really, all those cables are much more difficult than seaming.

Make room in that window for me and Pookie. It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for a whole whack of parcels to turn up and they’re still not here. I’m terrible in the patience-department.

It helps to have a sentry. And such a diligent one at that.
Last time I was package waiting, every 15 minutes, with ear for brown truck, next thing, sticker on my door! Boy was I p*ssed! The fix was I drive to another stop to meet the UPS man! Still p*ssed! But at least I got the package about 2 hours later.
Cables are fun! I use that funny orange or turquoise safety pin as the cable needle. Works very well when needles are small.

You’ll do just fine seaming that. With cables like that, how can you not?

Your cabled vest is divine, but totally eclipsed by the magnificent Mo. That is one lovely bully.

Again, you amaze me. What beautiful work and you are just a young whipper snapper!
