    It’s 5:20am.
I’m working at home before going to work.
    I don’t have a fever.
I wish I had that hat.

Guess I’ll have to knit one. Hope you feel better soon!

    Feel better.
    Miss you.

    Did you get the book??

Drink plenty of fluids, no alcohol , chicken soup, lemon and honey for the throat , Tea, and Tylenol. Lots of vitamin C , becareful Bronchitis going around. Call your mom.

  4. Juliet in Grand Rapids Says:

Homemade chicken soup (stock from the bones), extra sleep, vitamin C, (no tylenol or alcohol, not good for your liver) and call you mom (she’ll tell you to get rest). If you find yourself falling asleep while knitting, then you aren’t getting enough sleep.

  5. Anonymous, too Says:

Oh, who the F has it in them to make homemade chicken soup — stock and all — when they’re sick?!? The canned stuff or some from Nurse Mom’s freezer will do. Hot tea with honey, lemon, and a half-shot of Jim Beam does wonders for a sore throat. You need more rest, because you wouldn’t have gotten sick if you were well-rested. Bulldog snores and “I Love Lucy” reruns both have therapeutic qualities, and it is humanly impossible to overdose on either.

However, young Jedi, before calling Nurse Mom to come over, you should a) get rid of all the pizza boxes; b) get the size-you-don’t-wear undies off the chandelier/top of the fridge/floor lamp; and c(make sure your DVD player contains “Bambi” or “Fantasia” rather than “Colt Studios’ Greatest Orgies.”

I started grad school this semester too, and I just wanted to let you know how awesome it is to know that there is someone out there who is as crazy as me study/time-wise. This ish is stressful! So thank you. Also, gorgeous hat. I wish I had your time management skills to be able to knit AND study. How do you do it?
