clockwork lives!

August 2, 2012

before i begin, let me tell you a little bit about how blogging works for me. time passes in long spells with nothing for me to write about. then, all of a sudden, five posts’ worth of stuff falls from the sky and lands in my lap. often, if i don’t write about it immediately, it becomes irrelevant and prime blog content is lost. this time, however, i’m going to try to ride this wave of blogworthiness and see if i survive.
here’s hoping for a string of good posts, eh?

first up, who remembers my clockwork?
it stalled out for a bit
but it’s on the move again.
recently, it went to fucking hawaii!

eutrapalia blogged about it here.
it is a tale of joy and woe.
do me a favor and go leave her a comment.
it’s knitters like her that make this silly dream possible!

kateyj took the clockwork to d.c.
here it is at the evolution exhibit of the smithsonian

and here it is on katey’s shuttle driver, marlon
katey is very organized
and has taken charge of getting the clockwork where it needs to go.
if you’re interested in hosting the clockwork,
maybe you can ravelry stalk her.

as for me,
i’m going to try to plan tomorrow’s post.
can you all handle two in a row?

Hi Steven! Met you at the Gourmet Retreat. Briefly. I think you’re awesome! Wish I could have grown a set before I got there; I would have been more social and outgoing, met more people, etc. (Now I’m stalking everyone’s blogs…..as you do.)

Too bad the Clockwork isn’t here on the West Coast…Freshy and I could take it to see Tina at the Blue Moon Barn Sale this weekend!

    Take Care!

HEY! She brought it to Hana! If she had come to the library, I would have totally seen it and not realized it at all! A very near brush with knitter-blog fame. Sad-librarian-face.

I was wondering about your Clockwork a while ago but then forgot to ask. Nice adventure it’s on – it should have its own passport by now. Love kateyj’s photos!

  4. Lizz Says:

I’ll take the clockwork to Philly!

  5. Susie Says:

Send that bitch to NYC! I’ll show her a good time!

  6. Anonymous, too Says:

Silly boy!?! You really thought you had to ask about us wanting fun, informative blog entries on a daily basis?!?

I, too, had almost forgotten about the Clockwork. I’ll volunteer for the Chicago leg of the Clockwork World Tour. I’m sure one of the Art Institute’s lions will love it. . .or maybe a visit to Wrigley Field (or the Wrigley Building). . .or maybe a visit to the former home of the late, lamented, and sorely missed Marshall Field’s!
