reunited
September 5, 2011
a daylight search found mo trapped on our property. he is a little guy after all, and country life can be perilous for a city pup. when i came upon him, he was just lying there calmly, waiting to be rescued. when he saw me, he gave me eyes that said, “ok you’re here now. take me home.” after a few rounds around the house at lightning speed, he is now sleeping happily at my feet.
thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.
not only did it provide extreme comfort when i felt alone,
i have to believe that somehow they brought us back together.
xoxo

I’m so happy Mo is home, safe and sound. Knitter good vibes and prayers comes through once again!
Now we’ll all rally together and send positive vibes that you can get back into your apartment (and into some underwear).

I’m glad he’s back. I remember when my dog took off for the first time. It was so scary even horn or screeching tires I heard I was sure he was hit by someone. He came back too rather proud of himself for having a nice long run. So glad you and Mo can cuddle again. XD

I didn’t know of yesterday’s trauma, and am very happy to read that it had a happy ending. You could have called to chat, you know. I’ve been down this road.

I’m thrilled to hear that the story has a happy ending.
I wonder why he didn’t bark for you? He must of had a lot of faith that you’d find him.

Silly dog going off and worrying you so. And on top of such a terrible day!
I hope you both are home where you belong first thing in the morning.
BTW, my 32nd anniversary was Friday. What’s your parents anniversary? That’s why I got to read the happy ending before the worst day of your life.
September 5, 2011 at 9:51 pm
So excellent to see his little face! Thank goodness. Hope your week goes much, much better from now on!

Dear Steven,
I could hardly stand to read about the beloved Mo. I quicly switched back to my inbox and saw the name of the next post “reunited”. My husband says thank you that the second post quickly followed or he knows he would have had a blubbering wife on his hands.
It is so peculiar how I can watch the news about all the violent mahem but let one little animal suffer and I question the worthyness of all humanity.
I’m sure you took a deep breath and knew that life has graced you again with kindness. It is all that good Karma that you put out.
Fondly, your Sock Summit stalker,
Nancy Paris
